La Petite Photo

As a Long Beach resident with roots in France, my journey to this beautiful city has only deepened my love for it. There’s something truly special about living in a place where the ocean breeze is always just around the corner and where each neighborhood offers its own unique charm. Moving from France to Long Beach has felt like finding a second home, and being able to combine my passion for photography with my connection to this city through La Petite Photo (my photography business), is a dream come true.

Long Beach isn’t just where I live—it’s where I find endless inspiration. Whether I’m wandering through Belmont Shore, soaking up the vibrant energy of downtown, or finding peaceful moments by the water, this city never ceases to amaze me. That’s why I love helping couples capture their love stories here, using the city’s beauty as the perfect backdrop.

For those planning an engagement session in Long Beach, I have a couple of tips to make it truly unforgettable:

1. Make it meaningful: I always encourage couples to choose a location that holds special meaning to them. Maybe it’s where you had your first date, or perhaps it’s a spot where you often find yourselves walking hand in hand. When you’re surrounded by memories, your photos naturally carry a deeper emotional connection, and that’s something I love to capture.

2. Choose the perfect time: Timing is everything in photography. In Long Beach, fall and spring provide the perfect balance of soft, golden light and fewer crowds, making it easier to focus on each other and the moment. But if you’re all about that summer vibe, with its bright sunshine and the idea of jumping into the bay at the end of your session, then summer is your best bet.

One of my favorite things about Long Beach is its hidden gems. The city is full of cozy parks, colorful murals, and quaint corners that offer endless possibilities for unique and stunning engagement photos. I’m always excited to share these special spots with couples, making their session not just a photo shoot, but an adventure in the city we all love.

In the end, it’s all about capturing your love story in a place that means so much to me—and hopefully, to you too.
