How About a Lap Around the Rink This Winter?
Nothing’s more romantic and fun during the holidays than good old-fashioned ice skating. There’s Christmas music playing, everyone’s dressed cute and warm, and hot chocolate’s waiting for you in between laps.
It’s the best time of year! And it’s the best time of year to be a beginner out on the rink. It’s all about the atmosphere during the holidays!
The Rinks - Lakewood ICE is minutes away from East Long Beach and offers fun times dedicated to couples, families, kids, and adults looking to get in a good winter skate date.
Every Friday and Saturday, Lakewood Ice offers public skate from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Then, after a short break to clean the ice, the late night session from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. opens up. Late at night, the lights are often dimmed and more adult music and themes are played out.
Without a doubt, the holidays will be prevalent with all-December skate themes, including your favorite Christmas songs playing over the loudspeaker!
Monday through Thursday, public skate is from 10:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. Sunday afternoons are also a fun time to get the family out there over the weekend. Every Sunday, public skate sessions are from 1:40 p.m. to 3:40 p.m.
And did you know Lakewood ICE is the only facility in the world with LED lights in their ice? The Cosmic Skate sessions are a blast!
Skate rentals are always available—all you have to bring is yourself. See you at The Rinks - Lakewood ICE this winter!
