It’s back and better than ever: the St. Maria Goretti Carnival! This year, the carnival is dedicated to “Honoring Our Veterans” with many fair specials just for our beloved veterans. Enjoy rides, booth games, bands, a silent auction with over 200 baskets, student performances and more. Conscious Christmas is a one-day shopping event created to help individuals seek justice by taking action in their own communities to combat labor and human trafficking. Each vendor at Conscious Christmas has demonstrated values that promote sustainability, fair wages, and ethical “people first” business practices. The goal of this event is to promote fair trade practices while raising consumer awareness of their purchasing power. Youth Fishing Derby

Gather the little ones and get ready to fish the ponds of EL Dorado Park this weekend. All kids 15 and under will be issued a fishing pole, tackle and bait to try their luck (and skill) at catching one of our very own organic El Dorado fish. Prizes and refreshments will be provided for all youth participants.
