Concert in the Park – The Reel Band

Friday, Oct. 12 | 6-8 p.m.

Marine Stadium Park

Help the Long Beach State Athletics Department kick off the men and women’s basketball season during this Concert in the Park featuring The Reel Band. Both teams will be available to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

There will be tons of entertainment including obstacle courses, a basketball challenge inflatable, and many food trucks. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a fun-filled, family-oriented evening under the stars.

The Reel Band is one of the most entertaining musical groups around. They enlighten the stage with their presence and high energy, bringing you the best of R&B, hip-hop, Latin, salsa and old-school funk.

2018 Long Beach Oktoberfest

Saturday, Oct. 13 | 12-6 p.m.

The Pike Outlets

Enjoy awesome Oktoberfest activities this Saturday at the Pike Outlets! The 2018 Long Beach Oktoberfest features a two-session, unlimited tasting format with “limited’ attendance so grab your tickets now.

Session 1: Noon to 2:30 p.m.

Session 2: 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Each session includes unlimited tastes, delicious food options, and great music supplied by DJ Amanda B.

All attendees must be 21 and over. No pets, strollers, or children allowed. This is a “boutique” tasting event with 10-12 breweries represented like Rock Bottom and Belmont Brewing Company.

The Fourth Annual Pour on 4th

Sunday, Oct. 14 | 2-6 p.m.

4th Street from Temple to Cherry

On Sunday, Oct. 14, head over to Fourth Street for happy hour to enjoy beer, wine, live music, and great food while celebrating the unique area dubbed “Retro Row.”

The local shops and independent restaurants will be hosting craft breweries, boutique wineries, feature happy hour dishes and live music for guests purchasing a ticket. Tickets are available for $40 for general admission. Don’t wait because this event sells out every year!

Proceeds from the event will go towards helping the BID (Business Improvement District) to make improvements to Fourth Street and the surrounding neighborhood. Join several dozen local businesses to celebrate the end of summer and the independent vibe that represents Fourth Street.

Long Beach State Kidz Love Soccer Night

Sunday, Oct. 14 | 6-9 p.m.

George Allen Field

On Sunday, Oct. 14, Long Beach State women’s soccer hosts UC Santa Barbara in a huge conference matchup. Join Kidz Love Soccer as the youngsters help cheer on the 49ers.

  • Anthem Buddies – Stand with the team during the National Anthem

  • Fan Tunnel – High-five the starters during introductions

  • Play at halftime on the field

  • Be the Ball-Kid for the game

  • Get autographs from the players
